Community guidelines & content policy

As of 25 September 2026 · Part of the terms of use.

What purrr stands for. purrr is meant as a safe space — explicitly antifascist and queer-friendly. Everyone is welcome here, whatever their origin, skin colour, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or age. Discrimination has no place here. The rules below are not bureaucracy for its own sake; they are the frame that keeps this space safe.

Prohibited content and behaviour

1. Hate, incitement and far-right content — zero tolerance

Not allowed:

There is zero tolerance here. Such content regularly leads to an immediate, permanent ban.

2. Harassment, bullying, doxxing and threats

3. Illegal and dangerous content

4. Spam, scams and abuse of the platform

NSFW / adult content

Legal content that is not suitable for minors (e.g. nudity, sexual innuendo) is allowed only in channels explicitly marked as age-restricted (NSFW). Such channels are reserved for adults aged 18 and over; entering one confirms that you are at least 18. Outside such channels, keep content suitable for minors.

Regardless of that, the following stay prohibited: all illegal content, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), depictions of violence and gore, and non-consensual or secretly recorded content. Hard pornography, which under the German Interstate Treaty on the Protection of Minors in the Media (JMStV) requires a closed user group with age verification, is not permitted, because purrr does not currently operate a certified age verification system.

AI on purrr

You may come across content on purrr that was generated by AI. That is explicitly allowed, but it has to be recognisable. Since 2 August 2026 the transparency obligations of the EU AI Act (Article 50) apply to this.

Not allowed in particular: deepfakes of real people without their consent, and AI-generated content passed off as a real recording.

Reporting and moderation

If you come across a violation, report it through the report function in the app or by email to info@meisgaming.net. Reports go to the admins and moderators, who review the case.

We try to handle reports promptly. Abusive reports, or reports made to harass someone, may themselves count as a violation.

Automatically covered messages

purrr initially hides from others any message that an automated pre-check rates as potentially offensive. It is not deleted: anyone can look at it themselves with one click on “Show message”.

Two things cause a message to be covered:

Covering is not a penalty. Every automatic cover goes to the moderators as a report, and they review it by hand: a message covered wrongly is released again, a real violation is handled under the rules in “Consequences”. If you think your message was covered wrongly, contact the den’s moderators or write to info@meisgaming.net; the same appeal as below applies.

Consequences

Depending on how serious a violation is and whether it repeats, these apply:

MeasureWhen
Removing the contentfor posts that break the rules
Warningfor minor or first-time violations
Timeout (temporary suspension)for repeated or moderately serious violations
Permanent banfor serious violations or repetition

For especially serious violations (e.g. CSAM, serious threats, far-right incitement) the ban is immediate and without warning, where appropriate together with a report to the authorities. We inform affected users about moderation decisions as far as possible. You can appeal a moderation decision within six months by an informal email to info@meisgaming.net; we will then review the case again. As a micro enterprise, the operator is exempt from the DSA’s further procedural obligations (including Art. 20) under Art. 19 DSA.
